Let me tell you about a little venture that's near and dear to my heart - the coffee company I started with my best friend when I was living in New Jersey.

Since I was the creative half of the business, it was up to me to come up with the branding. I handled everything from the photography and coffee bag design to the logo and even the environment graphics for our pop-up shop.

It was an incredible experience to be a business owner and to have full creative control over every aspect of our brand. I learned so much about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into designing and advertising a product that's all your own.
